Born in and, with his family, exiled from Chile, Juan has seen
first hand and knows from the experience the
ravaging legacy of gunboat diplomacy and corporate rape.
Discontent with the media air-brush applied to many such
attrocities, Juan has decided to apply his talents to reminding
us of what has, and will continue to happen at the hands of
tyrants when we allow them the control to do so.
Capable of summarising so elegantly the inelagancies of the
world around us, Juan Cortes has managed to communicate through
his art what the most articulate of spoken words stumbles to
convey. A most capable artist in the making, we look forward
to presenting much more of his material in the future
